Trap Bias – A 0–1 score that measures how strongly each trap has historically performed at that specific track (and distance band). A score above 0.50 indicates a positive track bias for that trap, while a score below 0.50 shows a negative bias. This is calculated from thousands of historical races and stretched so that realistic extreme performances sit near 0 and 1. Rolling 5 years of data is used. Updated daily. 

Targets/Stop-Loss Analysis can be used to test different Target/Stop-Loss Scenarios. One example would be a daily target of £10 to £1 stakes. Another example might be a stop-loss of -£20 for £1 bets.

Selection Hunter CrossOver will match up your Selections (Historical or Daily) with our Selection Hunter database giving you access to almost 200 Horse Racing Filters and around 160 Greyhound Racing Filters that you can use on your own data.

Introduction – The Herfindahl-Hirschman Index is a straightforward mathematical measure originally developed in economics to evaluate how concentrated a market is. A low score means many competitors hold roughly equal shares, creating a highly competitive environment. A high score indicates that one or a few players dominate, making the outcome more predictable.

The DH Racecards were added to the suite of TSM Features almost a year ago and have been developed and improved since their initial release. There have been 3 iterations of Racecards. Each using different inputs to calculate bespoke rating values.

By lining up all 3 cards next to each other Dave H has produced the 3×3 Report. This is a simple spreadsheet that shows the Top 3 Rated Horse for Each Racecard, lined up next to each other. This allows us to pick Horses where there is perceived value as we follow the day’s racing.
