I generally don’t trade in play much; I tend to let the selection run. Over the years I have come to trust the stats, and I believe this is the key to long-term returns; So, if I do trade it is done manually
I agree ,way back in the day profitable trading on BF was relatively easy .But then came the bot(and bookie) invasion and although liquidity went up so did volatility.I gave up years ago and much prefer to form study and look at the stats (as you rightly say) .This site is an absolute goldmine of facts stats and trends.

This is GH 3X3 card go to tab “RACE PREDICTIONS” and in column “M” you will see “GAP TO” if the nubers are between 34 and 40. I have noticed a few winners within 34 TO 40 range at decent bsp’s. Just an observation to help!

Hi,Here is the definition for the value L5 Form Score in the greyhound racing:L5 Form Score’We take the L5 Sum Pos Score and subtract L51 and L52 from it.
Then subtract the result of this from a base rate of 20.
This means the highest possible value is 20.
The dog with the highest L5 Form Score in theory has the best form going into the race.
Numerical Based Filter.’
How do I apply this calculation to the current dog race ?

How are people getting on with the DH Pro Card GH? I’m testing a lay angle that’s based on slow out the trap stats. 7 days worth of testing (300 lays; so still early days). Going to run today on the Exchange. I’ll let you know how it gets on.

The DHPROT2-LIVE and the DHPROT3-LIVE are NOT designed to be bet on every race. They are provided because users requested that they are available as selections where they can be downloaded and fed into TBM or 3rd party bots.The results are shown for transparency. There are plenty of angles you can use on the DHPRO selections. The DHPROFILTER1 and DHPROFILTER2 are great examples of this. You can use the Selection Hunter Cross Over Feature in TSM to investigate your own angles and create your own systems based around the DHPRO selections.

It was still being tested in TBM. I’ve now made it public. Refresh the Tipster Screen in TBM. Make sure you load the accompanying settings file in TBM which includes the HHI Criteria and Odds Range. Then adjust the settings for your own preferences.

Hi David conducting my test top 3 off column G. doing them as 3 4 or5th fav OR 678th favs the 345 made 20 units profit , GET THIS ! the 678 th fav min odds 12 made 127 units profit with that big one Sunday (yesterday) clearly 345th not the one thats conclusive. Oh ? , trying 6789th too waiting to see. Dividing them up in this manner makes it much easier to seperate the wheat from the chaf I find and see whats what. Well done Phil

Hi I set AI to pick top 3 in green on column G but changed it to top 3 (not green anymore) caught me out. Anyway sorted that. Yes a process of elimination see which section of favs 3 to 12th make the most. Blindly doing the lot had a sweet spot between 6.00 and 12.00 and over 30 also. Lets set the eel traps see which one catches the most !

There are many ways to use the cards and ratings; paper testing is always the way forward;
Try, as I have said before, small fields 10 or less then use the 3X3 to see if there is any value in the top 3, if not move on. Hope this helps
Here is one I did today, nice small field and a decent price for VANILLA SKIES that was in the top 3 after taking out NR’s won @ 9.61. A matter of opinion, but seemed good value to me.
Hi two things to point out ?? that is 777 or close to winner last week (went off 1000/1 BSP)on 3X3 not mentioned ?? , and Sunday I did the lot recorded on a bot no 90/1 winner the nearest to 90 was a 76/1 which lost on mine (all 3 done) all races there are. Thanx Phil
From Dave Admin (Not Dave H) – The 1000 BSP winner was mentioned on the feed at the time and the next day. Also shows up in the Results for DHPROT3-LIVE as it was from that part of the card.
Getaway Vic was a non runner in the 1443 Hexham on 21st. The 90 BSP winner was Dolly Dior which moved up to 3rd on one of the cards.

Can see that you suggest a focus on value / races with ten or less runners, and with that in mind there are a plenty of small fields today. Some races look playable and others not to my untrained eye.
Without giving anything away, would you mind simply indicating which races you eventually play and which are swerved?
I’d find it useful to confirm I’m on the right track or need to look a bit deeper.

The HHI Index allows us to filter out uncompetitive markets where the favourites will be over backed and offer zero value. Example: When backing favourites and applying a HHI Index of less than 0.3 to the DHBL Selections we get a selection system with a 34% Strike Rate and a healthy 18% Edge. Putting the data into TSM we can see the average odds are 3.65 with average winning odds of 3.45. We are avoiding the favourites that offer zero value. This is an option I will be following going forwards in our sister software The Bet Machine. (TBM has the HHI Index available as a criteria option so that only selections will be placed where the current market is as per my HHI Index Criteria).

Times will vary due to data uploads, normally between 0900 AND 1000
To be exact, the first run is 0938 and then every hour until the data is available.
